EnviroPure offers mold tests and sampling so you can determine if mold is a problem in your space. We can then help you come up with a solution. Beyond our free visual evaluation, we offer three types of testing: Air Sample Testing, Swab Testing, and EMRI Testing. Each of these tests help us determine the mold toxicity in your home or business and the best course of action.
The first step to fixing any problem is determining if there’s a problem. A visual inspection may not provide enough information, so you may want to test. EnviroPure offers a bundled Air Sample and Swab Mold Testing at our lowest price guarantee. We also offer, for an additional fee, EMRI Testing.
We guarantee the lowest price on mold testing in Lehigh County and will beat any competitors’ pricing*.
Air Sample Mold Testing is the most common form of testing for mold in the air. It works by pulling a sample of the indoor air through cassettes which filter out microscopic particles in the air. These samples are collected then sent to a lab for analysis. This typically takes 2 to 3 business days to get the reports back. For a small fee we can process the results more quickly. We also sample air from outside so there’s a comparable test. A report is then sent and lets you know if mold is present in your indoor air.
Swab testing is taken from the surface where mold is suspected of growing. These tests collect mold samples from visibly present mold. The swabs are then sent to a lab, which may take up to 2 to 3 business days to get results. It may not show the exact concentration of mold in the air since mold doesn’t evenly grow and changes over time, but it can determine what type of mold it is.
This test pulls dust or mold from an area inside the home to take to the lab. We collect samples from the floor or walls of a home and gives more data on the DNA of the mold inside your home. It beats out short-term air sampling which can fluctuate. Once a sample is collected it’s sent to a lab where it’s analyzed. Lab results can take up to 5 business days to get the results back.
We feel a combined Air & Swab test is recommended for a vast majority of our customers. It’s comprehensive enough to get an accurate representation of mold toxicity in your air. Our testing is guaranteed to be the lowest price point—if you’re quoted a lower price by our competitors, we’ll beat it!
